Harper digs another latrine to flush Canada into
Now, I don't know about the rest of you, but I remember the last "free" trade agreement that canada signed- NAFTA- That free trade agreement completely screwed Canada and cost our citizens thousands and thousands of jobs, and America got to buy anything they wanted at a discounted price. Harper's government goons are trying to tell us that this new trade agreement with Europe is going to create tons of jobs and make us gazillions of dollars and make Canada basically fart sunshine and daisies, rainbows and unicorns.
So tell me, if Canada has all the fresh water, all the oil, all the natural gas, all the minerals, all the wheat, all the livestock, all the fruits and veggies, and all the fish, we have top rate scientists, world-class medical facilities, highly regarded schools and universities......What the hell are WE going to get from Europe? Ok European cheese and wine and chocolates are nice, and I happen to like the occasional Dutch beer, but seriously what else are they going to "trade" with us for?
....oh right- those expensive European sports cars that the 1% like. Yea, strangely enough, I'm not interested in those.
Why would we want to tie ourselves to a continent that's drowning in Debt, where a quarter of the countries involved are almost bankrupt- these countries can't even afford to look after their own people!!!! It's bad enough that we are stuck with our heads shoved up America's ass, just waiting to be flushed down the toilet when their economy completely crashes, why the hell would we want to tie ourselves to other economies on the verge of becoming manure?!? Seriously!!!!!
This "Free" trade agreement will destroy the Canadian economy and destroy jobs of thousands of people, just like the last one did. The fact that all these negotiations are taking place behind closed doors should scare the crap out of Canadians everywhere.
Stand up people!!!!
We can not allow the Dictator Harper to sign away Canada's livelyhood. Tell the government that they do not have the Right to make this decision WITHOUT the consensus of the people!!
